IF WALLS COULD TALK and THE STORY OF A STREET: two workshops exploring Georgestown's history
Andrew Draskoy and Sheila Coates, both neighbourhood residents, will show how they researched the history of one McDougall Street house, Maxse Street, and parts of the surrounding neighbourhood. An open discussion will follow. The emphasis throughout will be on showing you ways to research the history of your own house and street, and on sharing what we discover about Georgestown.
Bring photos, documents, and ideas to share with each other.
Refreshments will be served. This is a free event; however, donations to cover our costs are welcome.
