Who We Are:

The Georgestown Neighbourhood Association (GNA) was founded on March 20th, 2000 at a public meeting of residents interested in community building. The GNA pursues some of the objectives of its defunct predecessor, the Georgestown Neighbourhood Improvement Association, which ceased activities in the early 1980’s. The GNA is open to all residents of Georgestown – defined as the neighbourhood enclosed by Military Rd, Bonaventure Ave, Monkstown Rd, Carpasian Rd and Empire Ave

Our Mandate:

The GNA monitors and addresses issues concerning the well-being and quality of life of our neighbourhood, and seeks to preserve and enhance the social and physical environment of the neighbourhood community. Copies of the GNA’s constitution and by-laws are available upon request.

The Board:

The volunteer board of directors usually meets once a month. Elections for directors occur at the GNA’s annual general meeting.
